I would like to know who from the Atlanta chapter is planning on going to GAtty 2010?? I am thinking of going. Just have to make sure that I can get the time off from work!! Please post here so that we can make plans to either ride up together or meet somewhere. Thank you everybody!!!

I'm going! We will either leave Thursday evening the 10th and drive part of the way or just leave Friday morning the 11th. Haven't decided yet and haven't really discussed a route yet.....but we are going!

Anyone from Atlanta going to Getty?? Mopar,I live off of 85 in Duluth, however I have to work on Friday until 4pm. I see you guys are leaving early. I will see if my wife and I can get Friday off. This way we can meeet up with you guys.. Now!! is this i85 north?

I'm not sure what time we'll get out of here. We are both working all day. We'll probably drive 3-4 hours and spend the night. He's got a 4 hour drive to get back home Thursday. I'm not sure if we're going thru Atlanta or taking the more scenic route thru Chattanooga.

And your GPS is smoking crack..LOL...I am not sure where you live in Atlanta but if you can get to I-85 and head North once you cross over the South Carolina state line you are only about 20 minutes from exit 19B towards Clemson.Once you take the exit ramp it will circle around and you will go back over I-85 and then you will come to the first light which is only about 100 yards off the interstate and turn right and you will see the Fatz Cafe in front of you.

Then we will continue on to I-26 to I-40 to exit 27 which is 19/23 to the Maggie Valley exit go through Maggie Valley to the Blue Ridge Parkway jump on it to Cherokee and then jump on the Great Smokey Mountain Parkway all the way to Gatlinburg.

We should arrive in Gattey around 11:00 A.M. and we will check in at the Bearskin Lodge for the ones staying there and hopefully Pam will be able to join us by then so we can decide on a place to go eat lunch.

There are 5 restaurants in WALKING distance of the lodge so we can park our cars at the lodge and walk to lunch and walk the town till around 3:30 before we have to load up and go the welcome center to line up for the cruise through Gatlinburg.

Please grab breakfast before you meet with the groups in the morning,we will not be stopping to eat along the way.

So we have 12 Mopars for our ride to Gattey and here are some things to remember for Friday...

1.FULL tank of gas....PLEASE!!!!
2.Camera and battery's
3.2 way radio's and charger's (WE WILL BE ON CHANNEL 5) that's to let Scott and Jerry know what channel to be listing in on as we approach where we are meeting them.

If you are going to try and meet us PLEASE let me know and I will PM you my cell number just in case you need it.I hope this helps you a little and I really would love to have you join us.
