OK. So I went with Corsa. I checked out the Zoomers, Flowmaster, Magnaflow and Loudmouth options. I ended up with Corsa becuase of the fact the kit delivers no drone. I need this b/c this is my daily driver. I don't want to deal with a drone when driving. A rumble when I lean on the throttle is cool, but I wanted that "on-demmand".....
So, as you see I went with the Corsa Performance Sport cat back kit. I heard the Extreme on a Mustang. While I know the sound will be different on the car, the Extreme was louder than I wanted.
I took the car to DT Performance in Plantation, Florida. On that, I recommend them. They did a great job. They took the time to do it right, they fit it well, got it all lined up perfectly and they stand behind the work they do. They gave me a good price, with installation. I purchased the kit from them as they had it in stock. Feel free to PM me and I will give you the info on them. I already payed for everything, so my recommendation comes with no benefit at all..... the reason I say that is that, I feel, that gives the recommendation a bit more merit.
I'll give you all some comments while I go through the photos on the install.
I'd like to say now that this is the PERFECT EXHAUST for me. The car sounds awesome! Loud when it needs to be..... quiet on the cruise.... ABSOLUTELY NO RASP, ABSOLUTELY NO DRONE. Corsa delivered as promised. Well done.
The stock. The sound is good for a stock setup. However, it does not have the ideal rumble I want from a 8 Cyl, 6.1L engine. I wanted a deeper rumble and more "authority" when at WOT. Two things I see just looking at the exhaust system on the Charger SRT8. First, through the Cats to the junction with the "X Pipe", the exhaust seems good. Smooth bends, good flow in the design. From there.... it goes down hill though. While it is stainless (I am pretty sure) all the way back, there is a clear difference in the quality of the materials when you compare the cats pipe vs. the rest of the exhaust.

Once you get to the suitcase resonator, it is clear that it is not a straight-through design. This is true both at the suitcase resonator and at the mufflers. Notice that the pipe(s) into each is not in-line with the exit. This is common on stock exhausts. Also, notice in the shot above the "pinch" that makes up the X-pipe. More on that after more stock shots.

On the stock X-pipe. It is an X-Pipe. First, on the cars I have owned, this is the first X-pipe I have had on the stock exhaust. Kudos to Chrysler on that. However, it is not easy to manufacturer an X-pipe. H style pressure balance is far easier. It shows on the design Chrysler uses here. The pipes have a pinch in them to form the X. That bend reduces the pipe diameter a pretty good amount. That plus the, relatively, heavy bend make some say that is it not a true X-pipe. Yes and no... in my opinion. It is an X-pipe, as far as I am concerned. However, they could have done a better job. It is what it is....
Now the Corsa. First, it is an awesome build. I was impressed. The welds are nicely done. No corners are cut in the build. Clearly a straight through design with a uniform pipe diameter all the way through. The X-pipe is there and uniform in diameter all the way through.

Holy crap! There is a HUGE difference where the suitcase was. Clearly a better flow design. I don't know if there is a weight savings, but I would guess yes....

The whole exhaust in but not completely aligned. Clamps are great. I did not spot weld the kit. I likely will, but I will do it after I put some more mileage on. I will take it back tighten it down and then have them spot weld once I am certain it will stay put and I don't need to adjust.
Below is the whole thing, aligned and tightened down. After this they ran the car and tested for leaks.

What a difference!
The icing on the cake........

Great at idle. Nice rumble. When driving conservatively, the exhaust is quite comfortable. I was able to make a few calls on the bluetooth without a problem at all. Perfect. When I get on the throttle, it's awesome. At WOT, they know it's all business..... Just what I wanted.
Once off the highway, I drove with the windows down all day. Awesome.
I took some video. Stock and Corsa. I will put something together and I will post it as soon as I can.
Hope this gives some folks a good reference......
