Well everyone, this Economy stinks!! Yeah I know we already know this is true.
But two years ago, my car would be as complete as I would want it to be. Money was no big problem.
The only things I have left really are not big ticket items; tinted windows, Bully Dog CAI, Exhaust, and a set of wheels and tires. The hub caps don't sit right with the mods I ve already made.
I'm sure things will improve, one item at a time here and there.
Just hate to spend any right now. Gotta put tires on the wifes Durango and a set of pads and rotors.
Going to do the freebie and cheapies as I move along. Would like to do the blinker mod soon. Maybe this next weekend if time allows.
How about everyone else?

I opted to try and help stimulate the economy :) I bought a 426 stroker in Feb and its costs me too much due to all the problems.
I am pretty much done modding for a while unless is cheap and simple

Yea the mods have slowed down, I recently got the wife a new BMW,That killed the hood mod:D
But mods for me I like to do myself and you could say Most of my mods were done on a budget Borla cat-Back 125's,used for $400. Mopar CAI used $125
You get the Idea......It can be done ,Just be patient!
Oh and Because of the economy,I am looking on buying another house!:)

The MODs here are definately at a stand still till I get some cash flow going, I know what I want to do, but bills come first. At least work is picking back up again!

Didn't you buy a 426 from FRI and have it installed at BMC? What kinds of problems have you had? I have had zero issues with my FRI 426 that was installed and tuned at FRI.

there is a thread on chargerz that is forever long, lol
I guess I am lucky because I pay for my mods with the carpool money I get every week. EBay is a great source for used parts. Here is an idea I will share with you. Before I was set on what rims I wanted, I was going to get some Challenger rims and paint the pockets. You can find them for $500 if you look hard and be patient. With the pockets painted, they would look a lot like the Superbee rims.
