I called the forest service about the Russell-Brasstown Scenic Byway being closed. It's a State Road so they had to call DOT. I got a call back from the forest service and the road should have been opened Sunday:4-dontknow:
Apparently Ice and down trees were the original reason for the closing.
I was told we should have no problem for the April ride. It is open again now. So in two weeks I'm heading back.
