i have a question, has any of you guys done a differential fluid change on our vehicles? my brother in law needs one and he asked me if i knew how to, since i am pretty handy i told him "ill look for it" so here i am, easy job or should he let the dealer do it.
P.S. id like to experiment with his so when its time to do mine ill be ready!

What kinda mileage are you doing a diff fluid change at? I believe there is a write up on LXF about it. I haven't done one on one of these cars yet though.

Its a DIY job. You'll need a 14mm hex key. Remove fill plug located on driver side. Remove drain plug located on passenger side. Replace drain plug. Now to fill the differential i used a clean water hose and a funnel. Place water hose in fill hole, make sure the water hose is long enough and the fluid doesn't have to go up hilll. Put the funnel in the other end of the water hose and pour slowly. It'll hold 1.5 quarts. Hope this helps.

so you dont have to take the whole differential apart? i am asking cos i did it with my jeep. Other than that it sounds really simple
