I know this is short notice, but if you are off Monday and are so inclined, the Wellborn Muscle Car Museum in Alexander City, AL will have a "soft" opening, i.e. it will open in the afternoon for a those interested in seeing this fantastic museum. The local Mopar guys have arranged for the Alexander City police to provide a police escort for the group (by Police Chargers!) to the museum. If you are interested, we will be meeting at 1:00 PM at 1300 at the "Olde Town Grill" at 32459 US HWY 280 which is 28.5 miles from the 459/280E exit. The group will then drive as a caravan to Alexander City and be met by the police escort. We expect at least 8 Challengers, so if you have the time, come on over and go to the museum with us!

Coming from Atlanta, you may want to head down I85 and then take AL280 northwest to Alexander City. Remember you lose an hour coming into Alabama, but gain it back going into Georga. Mapquest shows the distance as 145 miles, driving time as 2 hours 23 minutes. If you want to participate in the escort, it may be easier to head north on 280 and find the escort that will be waiting for us at the county line. Just look for a deep water blue Challenger parked with a couple police Chargers. Or, you could just wait at the museum, we should all be there at 2:00 PM.
