I hear ya on the motorcycle wrecks.... I was in one in march of 06, Hit a car head on at about 60mph... took my uncles life, and no one knows how i survived... 2 bikes < 1 car.... Autos (esp bikes) are dangerous; no doubt!

i've seen more people killed and injured on the strip than the street whatever the man upstairs has planned is gonna happen no matter where u are. we street race almost every weekend and thru the week if sumpin pops off we race in low 2 no traffic areas these aint 9 second cars so theres very little room 4 error but thats your opinion and i respect that my mom doesnt like it either if that makes u feel better.bottom line is im down 2 race anytime anyplace and some guys just ant gonna go 2 the track round here so it is what it is

oh yeah we make our 1/4s round here and got plenty of em and aint gotta pay 2 get on them and if smebody chickens out u ant lost nuthin cus its free dats mainly y we dont go 2 track hardly anymore and no rainchecks.cant tell u how many times weve drove there and wasnt in the gate 15 minutes or 1 hour and started raining that ant cool when u cant get cash or raincheck or u drive 45 minutes pay 15 to 25 bucks and some punk dont show u waisted time money gas money

try and see i put new originals back on mine a few weeks ago and so far they are hookin like crazy im stallin up to like 2000 or better and they spinnin and movin thats what u lookin for they might be spinnin just afew feet maybe 4 or 5 feet at the most im about 2 head 2 track in a few

you can get the bottle hidden where the spare tire goes, the engine bay won't be to hard to hide, and you can get a window switch so you don't have to push a button(this means you can hide the buttons in the middle glove box or somewhere). good luck, hope you're able to get one.

No one ever challenges me. I guess I'm just not paying enough attention. Of course, this is good cuz I don't need any tickets.

I just like driving mine to drive it, getting on it here and there. I never really start with others, I let them awaken the 6.1 liters of hell and have them memorize the SRT8 plate on the trunk. So far I have 2 Rustang She T's and 1 2004 or so vette C5 under my belt. For you Jville guys Wonderwood is a decent little street. Going to work this vette dodges around cars and gets next to me. Going about 50 he decides to drop a gear and go, I do the same, put about a half car on him fairly quick before it was time to slow down. Made me the happiest ever. Cant wait to see him somewhere on base.

well the other day i was cruisin in my harley truck '''supercharged'' i mite add when this guy in a daytona r/t was impeding traffic i was in a bit of a rush so when a hole in the right lane opened up i took it. there was a car moving up fast so i gunned it. i got magnaflows on it so its not quite 2 say the least well i guess mr.leftlane larry was offended that a 4 door 5400lb pickup blew around him. so i go about a 1/4 mile and exit to get on i-55 when my cousin says dude the charger is on your ass i think u pissed him off so i knew what was comin he stepped out in the fast lane immediately and floored it i knew he was no match for me unless he was heavily modded up i used 2 pick on dodges with this truck before i bought one. r/ts, srt8z,rumblebees,srt10 viper trucks i've taken them all but any how i let him run up 2 my rear doors and i went to the bottom i pulled away from this car so fast i felt bad for embarrasing him like that it was a line of cars behind us and they knew what was going on i held him about 3 to 5 carlengths back for about a mile then i hit brakes he came up beside tryed his luck again why i dont know but i baptized him again then he pulls up beside me after i let out again rolls his window down and gives me a thumbs up and shouts dude thats one bad f#ck*n truck kinda made me proud of the old girl again since i hardly drive her anymore last tine i raced her was with my charger 2 show my lilbro she still had it. just sorry it was a hemi i had 2 put in check wish it was a g8 or a camaro or sumthing maybe next time. just remember class looks can be deceiving ask the guy in the daytona he thought he was gonna get a easy kill in front of his girl and got murcked ''murdered for those of u not up on street slang'' by what he thought was a old news pickup:cool:

looks like i'm the only killer here. well last nite as some of u may have noticed i wasn't here thats cus i was out kickin some camaro azz. i had been afraid of this guy for quite some time he has a head & cam package, converter, fast intake,thunder racing tune,headers,exhaust and gears. well he called me out of the blue yesterday and said hey man i know u gotta stock car i'll give u a couple lengths. well i was still uncertain cause i've seen the dyno sheet on this car 525 h.p. so i call my lil bro he said man its whatever u know i'm down. so race #1 i beat him 2 cars he said he spunt so i say 4 a few more hunnad we can do it again. race #2 i beat him 1 1/2 cars but his guys say they called it off cus they thought they heard a car coming wtf? race#3 i beat him by just a few inches barely nosed him out so then his homie says f@ck dat man let me drive i'll bet the money this was music 2 my ears he jumps his happy azz in the camaro and we took another victory 6 or 7 lengths for a grand total of 1200 winnings it just doesn't get any better than that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D

I hit a stop light at starret and clearly ahead you can see the lanes come to a merge and go to one(fully marked!)
I am in the lane that stays a lane.So I am waiting at the light and a black infinity G35 Pulls to a stop next to me in the right.Clearly he has 1 intention!
The light changes and its on!
I stayed on auto and by the time the big merge signs on the road showed up I had him by a car and a 1/2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not a fan of street racing at all!!! There are just too many things that can go wrong and it is not worth the cost of tickets, possible arrest, and even death, not just yours but a possible innocent bystander.
I prefer to go to the 1/4 mile an hour from me where it is legal and a lot more safe.

Well after being in Georgia today... A friend of mine invited me out to this underground scene again tonight.... He has been itching for the longest time to taste the SRT, lol. He has a 86 Grand National with a fully built tranny and a 3000 stall in it. Beautiful car..... We always talk trash to eachother.... Well tonight we finally lined them up.... If you dont know, a grand national is a turbocharged buick regal. A 3.8 liter to be exact.... Quick cars, very quick... especially with a little work you have a rocket on your hands.... ANyway, heated the tires, lined up, and GO!!!!!!!!!! It was close at first but at the end of 2nd and into 3rd the 300 became victorious. By about a car and a half actually!!!! It was a blast!!!! Cant wait to roll to gainsville sometime and do it the right way!!!!

I ran against a 90's Camaro on the interstate at night. I ran him twice, the first time I got the jump on him and tore him up. His car looked good and sounded MEAN! I figured it was the fact that I jumped out ahead of him and let him have the first move on the second go. He was out a full car length in front and I dropped it into 4th and stood on it. I zooked right past him and held it down, when I saw his lights in my rear view I let off. When he caught up and passed me, he shot me the bird!! My friend said "He is probably telling stories about burning a new Chally." I don't care, I was there and saw what happened.

Yeah, not to be a killjoy...But I've worked far too many fatality wrecks due to this sort of thing. We actually had two deaths last week from street racing.

He's in a newer Porsche, not sure what model, but rear wheels were way wider then front. He starts revving at me until I look over. He then asks if I want to run that piece? I have to reply nope, I'm still waiting on a court date for supposedly racing on the street and I'm not taking any chances. Also told him he needs to take it to the track anyways. Well the light changes and he goes to stomp it and..............STALLS!!!!!! lol. I pull away real slow and the guy finally get's his car to crank and meets me at the next light. I told him that he may want to learn to drive a stick before he races anyone. I also told him I guess I won since I got to the next light first and never got over 50mph. Here's my latest. I've only had about 4 opportunities since getting my car in March '08. Anyway,

Yesterday afternoon I found myself on the Turnpike while running some errands when I came up on some sloooow moving traffic. I wait patiently (sort of) for a chance to get around all the while, I have some dude in a Mercedes CLS riding my bumper which just pisses me off as what the hell can I possibly do to go faster if the traffic won't move? http://www.chargerforumz.com/images/smilies/4-dontknow.gif

Well, I finally got enough room in the right lane to pass the 3 cars in front of me so I swing out and speed up enough to pass but I'm not flooring it or anything. Just enough throttle to get to 80 and get around but, guess who is right up my keester but Mr Benz. So close, I can't see his headlights. So it's wide open when we pass the others and I stay in the right lane and here he comes jumping to the left of me. I thought to myself, (Screw you Pal, You'll pass only if I let you pass...lol) so I start to speed up to make it harder on him. As he gets even with me, I see the car leap like he's floored it. He's got at least 2 others with him in there. I let him get just past my front doors and I down shift to 3rd and nailed it. I pulled even in a heart beat and continue to pull away strongly until about 135 when I finally decided I would slow down and let him pass. I had 3 or 4 car lengths on him by then and just let off the throttle to coast. I proved my point and let him keep going as I was getting off at the Jupiter Rd exit anyway. Here's a pick of what a CLS looks like for those that don't know. Same color too. It's a 380+ HP V8 but there is a 500+ HP AMG model out there too. This one wasn't an AMG version. Not my problem though if he didn't bring the right shoes to the dance...lol

The latest a new Camaro. The guy was behind me for about 10 minutes on a two lane. We get to a four lane and a light. He's sitting right beside me. Wednesday night after a catering i was at the Gate station getting smokes. i see a guy in a purple charger and it sounds good... me being a nice guy i walk over and start talking to him about his car and telling him about DSM. He says he's on the LX forum and has headers DSP intake and exhaust. Still being nice i ask what he dynoed at...he says 353whp. we talk a little more and i go get my smokes. he's still outside and ask where my mopar is. I say "it's that pt cruiser right there". I can see it in his eyes, he's thinking "i was talking shop w/ a guys who thinks he's got mopar in a cruiser" (another bullish). Never ask what i have, what i dyno, anything, says later and pulls out. I'm right behind him and we get caught at the light going onto the JC bridge. I guess he was gonna show me what he had and is reving and lurking forward. i was sitting calmly...watching the other light switch to yellow...on green i drop it, HARD, it was one of those text book launches w/ minimal spin. by the time i made it to the top of the bridge (200 yards) i had him by two cars, full cars, magnum size! i turned on racetrack and he stayed on SR13S. i waved out the window w/ no response:sad: O'well, one more for the good guys!

you can ask the jax chapter guys... or i will post time slips from gainsville. as it sits now i am 350whp and 382wtq until sunday... then i should be 400whp and 420ish wtq.

i am fully built 16G turbo pushing 22PSI... 350whp on a 3300# car does fairly well. i just walk around with a chip on my shoulder, BUT i picked the car so i guess i have to deal with it. it has the same motor and transmisson as the neon SRT4 stock (that was a year ago)

this is my friend mike in canada, i am modeling my build off him. i am not close to him but not far. he is bored to 2.6L and is on NOS. this is also an old video but has a great view of the engine bay. he makes over 800whp now, but tunes down to 600 so he will not break traction or axles at the track. he is the extreme end of the spectrum but a good example.

looks like i'm the only killer here. well last nite as some of u may have noticed i wasn't here thats cus i was out kickin some camaro azz. i had been afraid of this guy for quite some time he has a head & cam package, converter, fast intake,thunder racing tune,headers,exhaust and gears. well he called me out of the blue yesterday and said hey man i know u gotta stock car i'll give u a couple lengths. well i was still uncertain cause i've seen the dyno sheet on this car 525 h.p. so i call my lil bro he said man its whatever u know i'm down. so race #1 i beat him 2 cars he said he spunt so i say 4 a few more hunnad we can do it again. race #2 i beat him 1 1/2 cars but his guys say they called it off cus they thought they heard a car coming wtf? race#3 i beat him by just a few inches barely nosed him out so then his homie says f@ck dat man let me drive i'll bet the money this was music 2 my ears he jumps his happy azz in the camaro and we took another victory 6 or 7 lengths for a grand total of 1200 winnings it just doesn't get any better than that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D

When I first got my car, Challengers were still pretty new. It seemed like every night somebody wanted a race. Now, nobody wants to play. I guess they all know me by now.

Not really too much of a kill but I beat a 300 the other day in my charger 3.5 at a red light.Well right after that I had a mercedes jump on my butt at the next red light. I nailed it as hard as it would go. I`ve never been outrun that bad in anything before and it sounded amazing and very loud. It was a CLS63 AMG with a dealer tag. He might have thought I had a hemi or something,not sure. I sure wish I would have been in my jeep so it wouldn`t have been as bad,lol

i havent had the chance yet but looking forward to getting next to a camaro or mustang at a light,only if it is safe of course.did plenty of the crazy stuff in the late 70s early 80s.if your going to do it make sure it doesnt put anyone at risk,we dont want to relive those days of sky high insurance premiums again!

Me, NOT much for street racing, however NOW that my SRT's program has been rewritten and the Predator is hooked up; car runs 100% better. It has always been very "doggie" IMO and used to have a huge lag at WOT takeoffs and between gears ~ this is NOW gone and WOW, runs like a beast.

Anyhow, the first day I took it out, drove around for awhile and stopped at a read light headed home a Mustang Cobra sat next to me at the light. When it turned Green; he nailed the throttle; thought He might do this. I stomped on mine, he was ahead in 1st and 2nd and when he hit 3rd ~ I pass him! Gotta admit..... was a lotta FUN!

pulled on a modded Jeep SRT8 a few weeks ago on the highway, 350z, 383 nova were probably my better kills.

next up, my dads 02 z06. 40 roll, but ima need a wideband so i can turn the boost up some lol.

leaving post one evening, taking the HWY home as usual, when all of A SUDDEN i have a 02-05 lifted ram comin up on me fast, and is riding damn near on my bumber on a 4 lane Hwy with noone on it! I start to get real irritated so I brake check him, then the guy abruptly jerks his truck to my right side and is stepping on his gas every couple secs trying to scare me with his flowmasters I guess, my truck is debadged, and (I never really get on it til these occasions and with my setup it screams when I go WOT) so I said what the hell played with him for a while and bit hard into 2nd gear and left him wondering what just happened, I get stopped at a red light, he pulls up and all I smell is burnt fuel, I roll down my window to ask if he wanted a rematch and he acted like he didnt see me, what a sore loser........

My best kill yet!!! I was driving on the Hwy on the way to base at 0430 and a charger r/t pulls up next to me and juststays with me. we both end up going around a few slower vehicles, and on a 4 lane Hwy here he is right next to me.....what to do? I figured he wanted to go rolled down the window, as he did and he gave the nod. We were at about 40-45, and on 3 horn beeps we both bit hard. He was stock, and I knew I would beat him, but not this bad....we stay close thenI start walking away from him til I was at least a full truck length ahead. I glance at my speedomter, and my tach is way past the 120, His limiter hit,mine didn't, call it what u want, I call it a win. after the race we ended up at the gate and he asked me what i had cuz that truck is freaky fast, and how all he heard was engine, and that his charger r/t was bone stock. I gave him one of my DSM cards, and told him to register, and we could have another rematch. The Killer Bee stings again!!!!!

Not really too much of a kill but I beat a 300 the other day in my charger 3.5 at a red light.Well right after that I had a mercedes jump on my butt at the next red light. I nailed it as hard as it would go. I`ve never been outrun that bad in anything before and it sounded amazing and very loud. It was a CLS63 AMG with a dealer tag. He might have thought I had a hemi or something,not sure. I sure wish I would have been in my jeep so it wouldn`t have been as bad,lol
I ran a AMG one night. I was sooooo glad to see the AMG on the back of it.

i had a guy in a old exdonk monte carlo try to do a flyby on me..... so i returned the favor passed him at 130. we stopped at the light i asked him if he wanted to try again and he didnt respond.:4-dontknow:

I have this late 90`s camaro flying past my house all the time,and it`s really loud.Well yesterday I was right behind him and I saw that he was trying to take this corner fast.Well I snuck right up on him and he noticed me.Once the curve straigtened up he nailed it.I stayed on his bumper up to maybe 120. I decided to let off because I wasn`t winning and he wasn`t pulling from me. I pulled up to the light and he kept saying he had a turbo on his,I knew better but it pulled better than I expected for a 6 cyl. He actually asked me if I had a hemi and I said stock 6 cyl. I think he was a little surprised. I`ll be on the lookout for him again just to mess with him now. :smileup:

well i figured since im obsessed with this i figured there may be more of us out there so i felt obligated 2 post this so we can talk about or share our best or worse street racing experience or just brag about our victories and how we represented hemi power 2 nonbelievers i''ve been street racing since i was 14 and cant get enough of it if it wasnt raining now i'd probably be at or in 1 now and yeah i know its illegal but its fun as hell so let usknow about the sreet scene in your area cus i will be dominating it in my area as soon as work picks up and i can afford upgrades.

p.s. i beat the shit out of a new mustang gt with progammer on it a few nites ago let him leave 1st and spinned around dat ***** won some cash off his punk ass he want be tackling a hemi no time soon:D

Ted (V666) and I tag teamed a BMW on 85 on the way home from the Tilted Kilt show a couple weekends ago. I think it was a 328.. not sure I never saw his back bumper.. lol one things for sure.. I really need to cut off that 125 speed limiter :mad: The funny thing is he's a coworker of someone else in our chapter and made a statement about running with the two SRT8's on the way home.. he was totally shocked to know he got beat by a stock R/T and a modded 3.5 LOL

Cool man! I shot down a Mercedes E300 3 times on my way home a couple of days ago. He kept trying and he kept dying.

I posted a thread the other day about a moustang gt giving me hell and then backing out for some reason. Well, this afternoon, it happened again in Beth's R/T and I buried this POS gt. I was on the west side of Charlotte by the Hickory Tavern and decided to hop on 485. An older (~ '95) metallic red with black accents gt was in the other lane revving. I thought if he follows me onto 485, I'm taking this one. Sure enough, he followed me on and once we rounded the entrance circle, I could hear him getting on it and so did I. I was in autostick and in 2nd. I gave it about 3/4 throttle and went up into 5th. The whole time he was staying behind me but not gaining. I was doing 100 and he must have sped up cause he was starting to gain. I stepped on it and it seemed like no time and I'm doing 120 and he's falling WAY behind. I came up to some traffic, worked my way through and noticed he chose to stay behind.

From about a 35 mph roll, her R/T reacted nicely and sounded great. It's a win and a little better than this weekend's!! Now, where are these monkeys when I'm driving my SRT?!

This one isn't a racing kill.. just purely putting some young punk mustang owner in his place.

I just stopped by the Spinx by my house on the way home from the plant to grab a drink etc, and as I'm walking back to the Charger some punk kid is staring me down as he fires up his v6 '03-04 Mustang with his single Flowmaster and tries to go tearing out of the parking lot with a couple buddies in the car with him... The guy pumping gas next to me looked over at me, then back down the road where the Mustang was still screaming at the top of 1st gear (an automatic) and shook his head as I started mine up and grinned at him. It just so happens that that Big ole' mean V6 was heading the same direction I was lol. I caught up with him about a 1/2 mile down the road at a stop sign with an old Cadillac between us. After the stop sign I eased my way around the Caddy and got behind Mr. Mustang and waited for the next broken yellow line (Log Shoals road is pretty curvy or I would have pulled a Ted and said screw the passing zone lol) There was a Camry in front of both of us, and as soon as the line broke the kid started to pull into the oncoming lane to pass the Camry first but I shut him down quick and pulled next to him at about half throttle, I timed it just right to floor it right next to him to make it down shift and left his ass in the dust.. he never even tried to pass the other car after that. I even backed off some to give him time to get around the other car and try to catch up.. 1 point to me, punk kid that thinks loud makes him fast.. 0 Class dismissed LOL
