View Full Version : chally wheels?
PanhandleBeast 12-25-2009, 02:46 AM So BeanBry refereed me to this awesome site... About $750 for a set of 4 - no tires...
I wanted Foose but the price is just crazy high... I was thinking of a set of Black Challenger Wheels...or maybe even a set of Black Viper wheels...
Would those look good on a Chally?

Mopar 12-25-2009, 04:09 AM Hey Joe,I was looking on the forum I got that from to see what he paid for them and how much but he never said...But I do see them on e-bay ranging from $1,500 to $1,800 hundred dollars. They maybe a better deal some where else.

I agree and you need to get them before the 16th....Cause you know that anything off of a Viper is going to give you more HORSE POWER!!!
PanhandleBeast 12-25-2009, 04:13 AM Wow. Jeesh. Thanks a TON for the pictures. I'm sold. Man I think I would love to get the black wheels with maybe chrome lip perhaps?
Now the question isn't about price (factory reproductions) estimated me a set of 4 for just $750 and some change. But I've been reading and the weight issue.
Our plastic R/T wheels weight about 30 lbs.
Viper wheels as a set of 22" (I think I'd go 20) will weigh almost 40. That 10 lbs per wheel of difference. Now I do have a Predator... will this hurt the handling/riding?
Mopar 12-25-2009, 04:20 AM Your welcome....And for the ride and handling the weight should not effect that a bit....But as for as tie rod ends, ball joints and other suspension parts it may wear those quicker than normal.
BLACKBEAUTY 12-25-2009, 04:34 AM Thanks for that info Shane.
That's an awesome price PanhandleBeast.
They both look good chrome or painted.
Don't know if I can do it by the 16 though Shane........LOL

MRS.PAID4 R/T 12-26-2009, 01:23 PM Im fellin those VIPER wheels, both chrome & black, but don't get me wrong... those CHALLY wheels are popin also!! Either way you go... you can't go wrong!
Can't wait to see what you go wit!
340gts 12-26-2009, 02:55 PM Black SRT Challenger wheels look great...I'm not a bid Chrome fan...
PanhandleBeast 12-26-2009, 05:43 PM Ah I'm so torn. I really wanted something with a huge lip so I can go staggered. So many choices.
NOTPAID4 12-26-2009, 08:48 PM Yeah, I also like those with a big lip, but the Challeys and Vipers don't have much of a lip.... but the both sure look GREAT!
supabusa 12-26-2009, 10:06 PM I went with the 20 X 10's on the rear and 20 X 9's on the front.
PanhandleBeast 12-28-2009, 03:56 AM Has anybody ever heard or maybe even purchasd from a chroming site... California Chrome Wheel?

wickedchally 01-22-2010, 07:47 PM this is patrick we met at my liquor store. are you going with a rim and tire setup
Mopar 01-24-2010, 03:52 AM Ah I'm so torn. I really wanted something with a huge lip so I can go staggered. So many choices.
Hey David, have you nailed down a decision on rims yet??
And if so which ones is it going to be??
NOTPAID4 01-24-2010, 05:05 AM HUH, funny to see this thread... a friend just called me tonight and asked IF I would be interested in his 2010 stock Challenger SRT8 wheels, tires and TPMs, with only a couple hundred miles on them! Wonder how they would look on my 06 Mag SRT! What would be a fair price? Any ideas???
BayouTiger 01-24-2010, 12:01 PM I am still looking for new shoes, but to be honest, I think the stock Challenger SRT Alcoa's are awesome. I just want to change to do something different than stock. The Goodyear F1's absolutely suck though.
