Finally got all the parts in. JBA Short Tube Headers, Mopar Header Gaskets, Sidewinder Cam(entire kit), Mopar Cylinder Gaskets, 25% underdrive pulley with belt, 180 degree thermostat, and the ZEX kit with race tuner kit is in New Orleans waiting for me.

What numbers are you hoping to hit with this set up?

Don't know. I've heard people getting different numbers with the cam and with the zex but I'm hoping to be in the high 400s. If I run the 125 shot maybe, just maybe I'll get close and break 500. that would be amazing.

Correct me if i am wrong,but i was under the impression that to get the most out of short tube headers you need high flow cats.

I talked to Eddie at southern hot rod aa while back and we're gonna try to get the cats in in time but if not I'll put them on later.

Sweet! My guess with the high flow cats is around 380rwhp. + zex will put you around 500wrhp!

fast, really fast. We're not even done with her. We're running the 100 shot for now and I"m gonna be going back once I get the Highflows then we're gonna step it up with a better tune and a 125shot. Hopefully he'll have a dyno by then(fingers crossed).

it was a blast meeting you today!...that little ole 5.7 is runnin strong bro!...bring it to the strip get some DR's and a little seat time and im predicting a very low 12 sec slip for sure!...maybe even that elusive 11 when some cool weather comes back in town!...oh yeah im also predicting a z28 getting a serious asswhoopin come july!

There's actually not that big of a difference. I got more power and it sounds awesome when I accelerate but not that much difference at idle.
