It sure has been a LONG six weeks.... started my radiation treatments for prostate cancer on November 2nd and had my last treatment today ~ FINALLY ~ on December 14th! I'm so glad this is finally over. Really a pain to be in Durham, NC VA Hospital for all these treatments, however EVERYONE there was very kind and treated me with great respect! I am so grateful to them!

After my LAST treatment today when I came out of the radiation area the technicians all came over, shook my hand and handed me this.......... (I think this is so VERY COOL!)

I think anybody fighting cancer are true hero's to do what it takes to beat this horrible disease and to have the fight in them that it takes.

Yeah, I am buggin the VA Everyday to get more help, so far, no good... just haven't hit the right person yet!!!

Yeah, I ran out of time to send Rob's laptop back so that IS my main objective for tomorrow! I felt like he would have to say that..."Jim, let go of the laptop, it was just a loan!" LOL I'm still in awe that he would do that for me, just being a forum family member like myself!!! BUT, little does he know; that is ONE of my qualities ~ honesty!
