After my radiation treatment today, met with the Urologist, like each Tuesday and she said she thought things were going pretty good, however she wanted for me to get two new prescriptions, which I declined, already have enough medical bills and don't need any extra, that's for sure!

Then we were originally told that my treatments would be from November 2nd through December 11th! Now the doctor told us I will be scheduled for treatments through December 15th. Geesh, thought I only had two more weeks to go, now I find out I actually have 2 1/2 more weeks. Pretty dissappointed! Not only that but Tee's FMLA leave was only approved until the 11th... so now she has to call her boss and see how that plays out... they already were NOT happy with her being gone that long. The other thing is NO pay for her for even longer... really putting a strain on US both!
(I'm pretty dissapointed right now!) This is sure gonna make Christmas a "BUMMER" for us this year!

Dang, that IS bad news. Sorry to hear that Jim. Hopefully things will start pointing up again soon.

Sorry to hear that man...hopefully Dec 15th will be it. Don't let this ruin your holiday, you and your wife enjoy it.

On a bright note, they were again able to move my 2pm appt to 11:30 again today so I can get my treatment earlier and hopefully beat some of the holiday traffic heading home for our Thanksgiving weekend!

Yeah, it has been great having Tee here with me; her moral support has really helped me get though all of this so far.

And, YOU ALL have been GREAT too! Doing OK, so far!

Yeah, there was pretty heavy traffic today, even though we got to leave Durham early, but we just took our time and had NO problems!

It's so nice to be home for the holiday and not stuck @ the VA Hospital! I'm very thankful about that!
