This is just a feeler for the moment.

I have a daughter who is a Varsity athelete at a small Christain School here in Mobile. Ironically, Mobile Christian School.

I also coach girls middle school basketball at MCS.

The program at the school is self supported and we do fund raisers to raise the proceeds needed for the kids to compete in the Alabama High School Atheletic Association.

Our largest Fund Raiser is our Leopards Golf Tournament put on by both the girls and boys programs. It will take place in August.

We will be looking for businesses and individuals to provide support either by placing teams in the tournament or to be hole sponsors.

The funds raised will be used to pay all fees, travel expenses, meals, uniforms, equipment, etc for varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle school players.

Our Varsity girls team were Area Champs and traveled to Troy to the Sweet Sixteen Tournament.

They are slated to once again reach Troy and could be a final four team. My middle school team went undefeated and I have two players who will move up to JV and one of them could make Varsity by the begining of next season. Both are going into the eighth grade.

I am very proud to be a part of this program, and am very excited for teh upcoming fall season.
