I was wondering if we should invite Gould Photography out for Rides for Racks. He usually attends and takes photos of drag racing events and some car shows, then you can buy professional quality shots from his web site. May be a great chance to get a professional quality shot of your car while it's all clean and shiney. Whatcha think? There would be no cost unless you decide to buy a print, which you order from his website.

I dig that idea!

I need a pro to shoot my car. I suck at taking pics.

The photographer has a family committment for the 15th. However, I got his particulars about doing a photo shoot, and since he is in the Atlanta area, this may work out for us. The fee isn't too bad for one person, and I'm sure it would be higher for more than one car, but.... it probably would be less over all than if we did this individually, AND, there's the cool advantage to having a group shot of the cars together. I'll talk some more with him, but is anybody interested in putting together a photo shoot on the same day?

You tell him what kind of background you want your car shot in, industrial, park, country, etc., and he has locations. He photographs your car in various positions, or action shots, you get a pro quality poster size print of the best one you want, the rest are posted on his website where you can buy prints of various sizes if you want, or not, depending. What would be cool for a group is he could shoot several cars on the same day, then some group shots. We may save some money on the car photos overall, since it's at one time instead of on different days.

Anyway, I'll talk more with him and report back.
