View Full Version : Removing my rally stripes!
MHemi 11-08-2009, 12:51 PM Due to an unbelievable amount of fading I am reluctantly about to remove and change the graphics on my ride.
Now one thing for sure I will do is an Idea Jesus gave me and you will see it when its done,Just a simple mod (no,I am not hearing things from the Lord,I mean Bullish!)
Now for the graphics,I was thinking of also removing the rocker stripes and putting that echo hip strip on the back quaters (similar to the superbee)
Then instead of the bee emblem I will think of something else.
So then I want to get that cuda grill,Black and the mesh will then go yellow.
So picture the inside of the grill yellow then just the echo stripes and the yellow on the rims
every thing else black.
What do you think?
and of coarse I am open to your Ideas!
sickr bee 11-08-2009, 01:39 PM Think that would look sweet bro! Have the rallies been on long? Do u think the fade where they didn't cover, will show ghoststripes? Hope not, black is slow to fade fortunately.

Actually way less than a year and mostly in the garage. Not even a daily driver cause I have a company vehicle! Those stripes must have been cheap material! Check this out
sickr bee 11-08-2009, 01:57 PM Man u aren't kiddin, that's some bad fade! Yellow fades fast, red fades almost as fast, but never seen vinyl fade soo fast, must not have been 3Ms.

I agree! Thats why next time all will be on the side! Believe it or not, they used to be the same color as those decals I got from Austin!
New stripes will be done by Identity Designs for sure!
Thommo 11-08-2009, 02:19 PM I think the new "look" will be a big hit. It's fun to change things up a bit. Maybe you can use a Mopar "M" instead of a bee?? I think the symbol should be something personal, so to make the change on your car mean something, it has to be something that reflects you.
BigJuice55 11-08-2009, 02:43 PM Do it Marty....it will look awesome!
SOBeeAndy 11-08-2009, 04:22 PM I don't blame you. I have actually considered removing all my decals due to fade and mine is also not a DD as I have a company car too. Mine are black of curse but not sure what I can put on them to protect from the sun. Any ideas would be appreciated.
MHemi 11-18-2009, 11:05 PM Here is a picture of what I have planned!
Just still not sure what to do for the circle emblem.
It will be Yellow of coarse and remember the Rally's and Rockers are coming off! I think I have enough material to do it myself plus it should last longer on the sides like the rockers did.
