Great video.... thanks for sharing.... but that kinda scares me... those older challengers didn't corner that well or have very good brakes!!!!!!! I got to drive my friends 70 Challenger with the 426, 2 4bbls and a four speed ..... what a blast that was!!!

Great video. The car is heavily modified, with a different dash and no doubt a Tremic 5 speed or other aftermarket trans. As much as I love the old stuff it isn't great at high speeds without some suspension and steering mods. Sounds like a set of 40 series flowmasters. Very cool stuff. Fastest I have ever gone on a highway was 180 in my 04 Viper, and that was top end for that car. The nice things about the new cars are the aerodynamics. The faster you go the more the car lays down and settles in. Sticky tires, low center of gravity with big brakes. Yep thats the ticket.

Oh yea,sounds great! I had a 71 with a 440,Sounded similar!
