Trunk or Treat at Riverside Baptist Church 10/31 6-8 p.m. [Archive] - Modern Mopar Club

Okay, gang, here's the details. We are having our annual "Trunk or Treat" on Halloween night from 6-8 p.m. for all the kids in our area. Everyone decorates the trunk of their ride (and sometimes dress up themselves) and hand out candy. We've had HUGE turnouts for this, as parents see it as an opportunity to bring their kids to a safe and fun trick-or-treating area. We had around 40 cars last year, I believe.

Some of you have expressed interest in participating, and I'd love to have a slew of Mopars show up with trunks full of decorations and candy. Just remember, if you're going to decorate, there will be small children present, so try to avoid anything that will terrify them and give them nightmares for weeks. I don't want those kinds of calls coming in to the office :D.

Ted (v666) has said he is coming (without Chucky and the 2-headed baby, he says :Na_Na_Na_Na:), and I believe Shane (Mopar) is bringing the Viper. If you're coming, please let me know in advance so I can reserve spaces for the DSM cars to be together. Thanks, all!

This is probably one of the greatest ideas that I have seen. Now days parents don't want their kids out because you don't know what is in the candy or who is in the shadows. This makes it safe all the way around. Great Idea and congrats to who started it

I will let Marcus answer this,but my opinion our what we are going to bring is a assorted bang of candy with a 300 piece count.

Now I need a head count for who wants to meet me and Susan at Logan's (53 Beacon Dr. Greenville,29615) for your nav. or map quest.

We are going to eat at 3:00 P.M. cause Marcus said 5:00 o'clock was early enough to be there at the church.
So once I see who wants to meet to eat first I will post meeting time for the group in Anderson if ya'll wanna ride up together and for the Greenville group we will just meet ya'll at Logan's.

Ok I will post something around 1:00 or 1:30 about the weather if it's iffy cause that is when I will be leaving the house to go if we go.

Well guys and gals since it's raining this morning I am going to G-ville with my uncle to try and get a deal on a Viper they have up there.I will have my phone on and if it gets close to 1:00 I will chime in to let ya'll know what I am doing,but if it's still raining and does not look like it will let up on radar I will be missing this one.Here is what I hope he gets and joins the DSM.......
