I know this works on the LX/LC models, not sure about others.

If you have been doing some "Granny Driving", do this to get back in the groove!

Clearing PCM Adaptive Programming Memory

Open the cover on the IPM (Integrated Power Module or Engine fuse
block/power center) and pull Fuse F2 for a count of approximately
15 seconds resets the adaptives and makes you fast again.

Note: (according to a Chrysler tech with 25 years experience, only 15 seconds is needed to clear)
Here's what it does! Pulling Fuse 2 resets;

- All PCM DTCs erased.
- All OBD2 monitor results erased.
- All long term fuel trim adaptive values reset to Zero.

Make sure your car is turned off and the key is in your pocket while doing the pull.!

It is a 25 amp beige fuse !

That is interesting. Thanks!!
So driving conservatively will modify your PCM in such a way that you lose power/performance?
I have noticed a difference between the first 500 miles acceleration and recent acceleration...or maybe I am just used to it???
Can anyone chime in that has a pre and post fuse pulling et or the like...
I would like to hear from someone that did the data clear.

If you have the Predator, you can just go in and reset the TCM adaptive learning.

If you have the Predator, you can just go in and reset the TCM adaptive learning.

Pulling fuse 2 is different than resetting the TCM with the predator.
Fuse 2 deals with the PCM.

What's the difference between the PCM and the TCM?

A: In the simplest terms, one device controls Engine functions and one device
controls Transmissions functions.

The term PCM refers to PowerTrain Control Module.
The term TCM refers to Transmission Control Module.
